Super Heroes

Today we looked at i movie trailers with the help of Whaea Raewyn, our ever patient facilitator.
We are learning to understand different movie shots. We got into small groups and using i movie trailer we captured different shots like long shot, medium, wide, medium close up, close up,and action shots.

"Viva l'italia" was the chant as these mini Italian Olympians set off for the Olympic parade.

We have been learning about warm and cold colours. Before we did these pictures we went outside and looked at winter trees. We used crayons and black vivid to create this artwork.

We are learning about the Olympic Games. We have made flags.

We have been reading the legend of The Star Fishes. The story describes how the seven fish became the seven stars of Matariki. Kaia used Explain Everything to create her own video.

Superhero Captain Cashtastic

Today Room 13 had SuperPower Training. We learnt to recognise Money( notes and coins) and we discovered that what we want is not always what we need.

Room 13 excitedly awaited the opening of the School pool. Then "Splash!" Everyone was in and having fun.
