Exploring shapes

Room 16 and 17 have been learning about symmetry and shapes.  It has been fun working together. creating and talking about our robots. We had some interesting discussions about what to put where to make the robot symmetrical.

Bubble Fun

We have been enjoying language experiences with the other junior classes to help improve our vocabulary. We came up with a great list of words to use in our bubble stories.

We have been learning about ANZAC. We made a wreath and attended the commemoration service we had at school. We think the soldiers must have been very brave.

We had an amazing time on Friday when it was Room 17's turn to host assembly. Everyone really enjoyed performing and had lots of fun. Here are a few photos of us on stage.

Let's do some Maths!

Room 16 and Room 17 have been working together and learning about data and graphs. Together we made a pictograph of our favourite pets. We found out that the most liked pet was a fish and the least liked was a frog. Some of us also made predictions that were correct!

What we like at school

Today the students were learning how to use I pads and write what liked at school. They are learning what the buttons are for and how to present work.
